Smile The first step on a long journey

Today at 13:46 I flew my first solo circuit. Seems like I've waited forever, what with the crap Wx, sodden runways, and of course our old friend murphys law.

The feeling....., well if you've done it you'll know.

I've been lurking on PPrune for about 4 months, and I promised that my first post would be on my solo.

Keep up the good work one and all, lurking here has taught me a lot about the whys and wherefores of aviation, and oddly enough hasn't put me off in the slightest.

After the rest of the PPL course, off to Guildhall for the ATPL theory and then blow the rest of the money I've begged, borrowed (but not yet had to steal)on the training to become a fully fledged PP.

Grin., grin, grin, I just can't wipe this smirk off my face - perhaps I'd better go to the pub......
