Anyone Got A Class 1 With BA Soon?
Just to find out if there is anyone else out there going down to Gatwick soon for a "Drop & Cough" Assessment?
Would like to know the complexities of it all and just how FIT do you have to be?
Anyone been down and passed, whats the next stage with BA? Do you know your course date?
Any info would be great,
Cheers,
VORDME

Watcha,
I went down for the BA medicals in May and it is all pretty standard. Fitness doesn´t really come into it just lay off the booze for a few days as they check your blood and urine and it probably wouldn´t look too good if you had traces of alcohol in the system.
There is no running or anything, but the day itself is pretty damn tiring especially when you get over to the CAA and they replicate everything you had done by BA in the morning.
Just get yourself a good nights sleep before you go and you should sail through, you´re also more than likely to meet another CEP trainee on your day down there who will be on your course which is pretty good as you get to know someone early on.
Just wait for your spin in the A320 sim on the meet and greet, utterly mindblowing!
Take it easy, good luck with your course
Rob.
