Talking Full time distance learning?

Hi all,

Appologies in advance if this is an 'old' question.

I'm currently a few weeks into the first block of an integrated course (ATPL groundschool).
Despite sitting in a classroom for several hours a day, I still find that 90% of the learning I've done has been self taught in the evenings by reading the books in my own time.

I am considering leaving my integrated course and signing up for a distance learning course and doing that full time. Not only will it save me money but I feel that I'm wasting my time sitting in the lessons since some of the intructors just narrate whats in the notes anyway.

Has anybody else made the change from Integrated/Modular to distance learning and if so, how have you got on?

Many thanks.
