The only school I'm aware of (prepared to be corrected, though) who provide a CD for the entire course is Bristol. Their CD includes a security mechanism which, once the software is installed on one PC, will prevent it from being installed on another. So even if it were legal (which I don't think it is) it wouldn't be possible.
