CAP509 / JAR Integrated course

Here's one that has been bothering me for a while (academic for me as I'm a self-abuser)...

I understand that there is an hour-building element in an integrated course. How are the priveledges for this handled? Does an integrated person get issued with a PPL after requisite training early in their course to allow PIC hour building?

There wouldnt be any need for this
as solo student pilots can go on cross
countries without a licence - They cant
take passengers though - Oh apart
from the Instructor!

They dont get the licence until the skill test is complete
