Any of you folk got any tips for cheap hour building arrangements anywhere in the Midlands? By Midlands I mean Sleap, the "Business" Airport, Shobdon, Gloucs, Coventry etc rather than the East Midlands.
Thanks

Rote 8,
Coventry Flying School. Pay 30 quid a month and get 152's for 48 quid an hour. Your contracted for 12 months but its well worth it. Go to www.cix.co.uk/~repdesign/covaero/ for more details.

Rote 8,
I contacted Coventry Aero Club a few weeks ago....They told me that they had stopped this scheme.I also fly out of Coventry with Almat Flying Club. They have a couple of 150s for £61 and a 172 for £81.
I believe C+S Aviation at Wolverhampton do a scheme where you can hire a 152 for £55 as long as you pay up front for a 50hr block.
Hope that helps.

I called in @ Coventry Flying School Yesterday and they confirmed the hour building scheme is still available @ £46 p/hr on a C152, based on setting up a monthly direct debit for £30 and joining the club (a further £175) plus a standard £5 landing charge. I took a look at the 3 152's in the hangar, all of which were well maintained and well equipped.
Hope this helps - I am looking to hour build in the Midlands myself so I will keep you posted if I find a better deal

just leave p.v. alone, it's mine!
seriously though, that's me, autofly and a few others, obviously/possibly?
hours buiding is more fun when you get to go further afield, and with 2, 1 hour pic away is 2 hours total!
i only fly weekdays, hideous shift working demands that i spend w/e's with mrs supportive, bless her!
e-mails alround i think!
(autofly i've just sent you one)
