Question Frozen ATPL...

How do you move from a frozen ATPL to a 'thawed' ATPL? Do airlines take you on if it is frozen? If not how do you get the experience? Can it be Cessna flying or does it have to be 737 stuff?
Thanks in advance, Tri

Yes - you can be employed with a frozen ATPL - most, if not all, pilots first job is with a frozen one.

Unhappy

Unfrozen at 1500 hrs TT, of which 100 must be night, and a few other stipulations, which must be done by 20 June 2002 (for a CAA licence, not JAA). Chapter and verse can be found on the CAA website, www.srg.caa.co.uk/documents/GID9.pdf
