Hi there!

Simfly-

I'll be going to OFT in late June and I'm trying to work out what times of the day to book the planes for (I've read that the torrential rain storms roll in at around 3pm??). Can you tell me what the best times for flying are as a result of the WX?

I would be looking to fly twice a day, and also spend a few days in the Bahamas since they are so close. Any advice and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated (I've flown in Ca. alot but never Fl. Arranging this trip at short notice).

Many thanks, sorry if the grammar is a bit dodgy, I'm so tired I can barely see sraight!! P.S. Where's the spell-checker!!

PPP Congratulations on getting your PPL!

We are going to train this summer at the Pan Am International Flight Academy in Ft. Pierce, Florida. They are offering a JAR-FCL approved course and KLM Flight Academy (from the Netherlands) just moved their ab-initio training there. So I guess, they will deliver good training. I don't know about the price, because we pay a fixed price to the KLM Flight Academy and that's for our entire training of which the Pan Am part is only about one third.

Good luck in making a choice

Cool

Princess,

During the last week, I noticed the same weather pattern. Clear skies until 13:00, then cumulous build up, then it all dissapeared around 16:00 ish. It gets quite bumpy while the cloud is building up too. The aircraft are usually bookable in 2 hour slots or more if you require. Let me know if you want more.
