Angry doing your JAR ATPL overseas

A cautionary note to my fellow wannabes...

Just completed my JAR ATPL course and I am really looking forward to getting home and revising for those lovely exams next month.

However, the company that promised my fellow students and I that they would ship back the 50-60 kilos of books and notes as part of the deal, have decided against doing that after all....

This means I will have to pay for this myself out of my massive flight training account.....yeh, right.....

This is one of many grievances I have about this company but of course I cannot discuss any of this with them as they are 5400 nm from my present location and are quite impervious to questioning e-mails...

The lesson is this: Don't go overseas to do the groundschool, its not a great saving and if there are any problems - the UK company and the foreign company will just keep blaming each other....

If anyone needs to hear anymore, feel free to e-mail me...you can use any one of the 13/14 official national languages used in this southern hemisphere country.....

They're still not gonna stop me gettin where I wanna go.
