Cool PPL

Hi everyone,
I work as a computer programmer in the city of London. recently I had a two hour introductory flying lesson on Piper. I loved it. Passed the human Performance exam two days ago.
My intention is to get the PPL.
I am 30 years old with a degree in engineering. Do youknow if I can ever have a career as an Airline Pilot?
Thank you

Really depends on how much cash you have, and how much time. Doing a PPL would be a great start, as you are a bit over the required age for most sponsorships (normally about 28).
The PPL will cost you anything from around £3-6k in the UK, depending on the training school and your location. Going to the US to do an intensive course is cheaper, and entire packages including accomadation will cost £2-4k.
After that, you could look into Modular courses for the ATPL or full-time courses if you can afford not to work...
It depends on how commited you are to give up everything you have for a pilot career.
The degree in engineering will help with a lot of the study and will favour you with potential employers.
Your age shouldn't be such a huge problem...Good Luck
