For Sale...Why not?
It seems to me that pprune would be a perfect place for pilots to pass on unwanted items particularly amongst the new entries who may be looking for second hand books ect.
What do others think. Could we have a for sale forum...It would be much more constructive and beneificial than a lot of the rubbish that gets aired here.

Guys,
Having a for sale forum is not a bad idea. Would you still be interested if you paid say a Dollar or two per post?
The reason I ask is, I think PPRuNe is a truely unique place and I would hate to see if fold due to its own sccess. The more bandwith a site uses the more you have to pay for it to be hosted.
Maybe an auction setup might work better, where a portion of what you make selling your merchandise goes to PPRuNe for hosting.
Just some thoughts,

No copyright would be breached. We don't have the bandwidth, its not what PPRuNe is about, we have thought of the idea years ago and discarded it, the same service is already available online - just search www.loot.com for aviation products as an example.
Input and ideas are welcome though.

A section where ATPL course info. and especially exam feedback can be posted things like that. I have a ton of stuff that would be useful to current students and maybe some of you working guys too! you never know.
I did say i would send some stuff out but became busy with other things and lost my way. This idea will stop me from doing so plus i get to help aspiring pilots.
