Group Exercises

Have heard that airlines on their selection days undertake group exercises.
If anyone would like to offer an insight into these group exercises, please feel free.

Have never been to an Airline Group Exercise Session as I am still working on the ATPL but have spent the last 7 years as an Outdoor Pursuits/Education Instructor so here are a few of my thoughts on the matter.
The group exercise can seem a bit cheese on toast to begin with. However where it really excells is as an Ice Breaker for people who do not know each other very well. Team exercises can take many many forms but usually take the form of a task to be achieved by a group of peole. What a good Tutor would watch out for during the task are certain attributes that they require in a candidate.
All groups of humans will always have a certain number of Leaders/Followers Pragmatists/Theorist Company People/Individuals etc etc
My advice for what its worth - be yourself and if its what they require then great if not go somewhere else where who you are is what they want
