Post What is the time limit?

I have my PPL and am about to start ATPL DL.

I understand you have a three year window in which to achieve CPL/IR frozen ATPL.

When does the clock start ticking??

I am in the same position as you ....
I know that you have 3 years to get your CPL from the first pass on your ATPL exams .
But don't forget you have to finish all the exams within 18 months from your first pass as well!!!
Did you know that when you go to take your first exam you have to pay for all of them to the CAA (about £700)!!!

Good luck!!!

It`s a little better than you quote...You have 36mths in which to obtain a CPL/IR from the date of your 14th pass.
