Post Where after ATA?

Ok so it looks as though I will be choosing ATA in Coventry for the ATPL theory, But can anyone recommend an affiliated flight school (if there are any) for the CPL/IR? Or where did you go after ATA?

Cheers all

Personally , after ATA i think i'll be going to Leeds flying school , there local to me and i've heard many good things said about them on this forum , also having spoke to them , they seem like a very good set up with friendly approachable instructors.

p.s the prices are quite good as well !!

The most commonly 'brought up' schools last time i was at ATA were

1.Triple AAA
2. Multiflight.

When do you think you will be going to ATA???

Just finished 6 months at ATA, now at Triple A Humberside. ATA dont have any affiliated flying schools as such.

I was at ATA about 18 months ago, most guys seem to be heading off to OATS - I gave Hilary the details of Triple 'A' at HUY as I was given it as one of the top 3 schools in the Uk, and i've know Mike Briggs for a long time....

Good to see he's still gaining business from CVT.

He has good A/c - C172/BE76
No paying up front...
Excellent pass rates..

Finished my ATPL exams, and I'm off to Professional Air Training in Bournemouth later in the year!

Visited all the schools and every time I ask, I keep getting more and more recommendations from people who have been successful with Professional Air Training. Not only with first time passes through outstanding instruction, but with getting a flight crew position afterwards.

Not saying that the others are not up to scratch, I'm sure they are, but I know you won't find any instructors at PAT trying to gain experience before moving elsewhere, because they're all career instructors.

I believe also that WWW went to PAT.

Thanks for your help

I'm aiming for the first module begining in April depending on how well my finances hold up (as I want to go straight in to full time flight training after) if not then it will be August.

Thanks again, another few places to go and look at
