Five days ago I submitted the easyJet online application and received the page saying "Thank You your application has been received".. .. .It says on their website that you will later receive an email confirming the submission for your records.. .. .Does anyone know how long it takes for the acknowledgement? I would have thought it would have been instantaneous (I double checked my email address in the printout and it was fine).. .. .Regards . .BW

I too applied to easy ... on the 1st Feb this year. I have still to recieve any copy of the application form or any other notifiction apart from the way you said. This makes me wonder does the application even get thru to easy??. .I thought at least they might have the decency to say thanks for applying but sod off!!! Couldnt help but notice the easy application was down on the 18/19th March for a period. I updated mine today, but previously a reply was almost instantaneous.. .. .MAX <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="cool.gif" />

I went along to the easyjet pilot open day at Gatwick about two weeks ago. The same question was asked and they said that they no longer sent back a copy of the application by Email. I suppose you can always ring or Email them to check you are in the system. The main point I came away with was that they have plenty of applicants at the moment with heavy A/C type ratings. I haven't, so I don't suppose I'll be hearing from them for quite a while.

I applied ages ago.. .. .I did not get a confirmation, however I do get regular e-mail updates from them of their recruiting requirements, so I guess that means I'm on the list.. .. .Cheers!. .foggy.

I applied to them in October last year, when my Virgin job was very, very iffy. They replied instantly, and emailed company info fairly regulary thereafter. However, they hadn't displayed any further interest in me by the time I withdrew my application in February. I have 10,000TT, all but 1800 of it is 4-engined, and including 7000 command time - but no 737.
