Lightbulb Quick Question

If OAT were offering the best training in the industry (which I'm sure they can do) but at a slightly higher price then other training organisations, would you opt for OAT?. .. .OAT still has a reputation for turning out the best students, but they need to achieve this day in day out.. . . . [ 18 March 2002, 14:33: Message edited by: Added Extra ]

Cool

OATS churn out the 'best students' do they? What about the 'best pilots'? Food for thought.. .. .MAX

Oh No!, not another boring thread about the credibility of OATS Blah Blah Blah. Perhaps we should have an OATS forum where people can be terninally boring.

Question

Its a largely pointless thread. However it does raise once more the question of how OATS have achieved this image of being the premier FTO.. .. .Not that I wish to say they aren't or that there is any such thing in fact. And not to bash OATS - a fine school.. .. .But I wonder is it:. .. .
. .. .I do not have the answer. But its puzzled me before. My personal recommendation is to largely avoid the large FTO's, find a small fully commerical FTO in you area and develop with them an important customer relationship following the modular route. . .. .In these times it is perhaps even better advice. During the hight times pre Sept11 there was a tiny chance that Large Airlines would call BAE/CABAIR/OATS/SFT and ask them to send there top 5 self sponsored students for an interview next week. That no longer happens... .. .WWW. . . . [ 18 March 2002, 16:27: Message edited by: Wee Weasley Welshman ]
