Question Career Development Loans

Can you still apply for Career Development Loans to ease the costs of gaining your licences? I beleive that Royal Bank of Scotland used to offer them as did Barclays. Anyone with up to dateinformation?

You can get either up to 80% of the course or a maximum of £8,000 from the Career Development loans. Barclays, Co-op, Royal Bank and 1 more bank who I can't think of.

If your presently unemployed, I believe you can get the whole course funds (so it said in the requirements form).

There is always the HSBC bank for a Professional Studies Loan - however I think you have to have a degree first (not sure on this).

Best of luck,

Homer

Not sure about this one, but don't the careers service run some kind of loan through a bank?
