Thanx a lot Grace!!
I am starting to feel the heat as they say now. 2 days and counting
It is so difficult to find good examples of the key topics, and then to make them sound good in an interview situation. I am having a couple of mock interviews with a couple of friends, which I am sure will help loads.
It is quite an intimidating day, when one considers what is possibly at stake. However, what I keep telling myself is that they would not waste their time interviewing me if they felt that I did not have what it takes!!!! And that goes for all of us!!!
Any way, good luck to you Grace too. Hopefully we will be going on pre course beer drinking sessions to get to know eachother better!!!!

Pie!
You are correct, I have been quiet but I have been working pretty hard recently. Nothing I can do about it. How are you feeling about the big day? Do you feel well prepared and ready to give it to 'em?
I am just gonna be myself and see how things go. There is no point attempting to bluff I think cos what is the point!
Anyway, I look forward to seeing you on thursday, and keep the 2hours after we finish free, so we can all go for a beer ok!!

Hello all.
Just to let you know how the final board went. The day was a quite enjoyable one considering. The essay was the standard 'write an article...'. The interview was I found was quite relaxed and I found it went reasonably well. Whether that was due to better prep or more experience I cannot say. The group work was 'You and your group are stranded at point x. There are loads of obstacles in your way. You have a day and a half to get to a certain point and are only allowed to carry 10 survival bits of kit. Leave the rest at home.' Take it very seriously. I think that our group gelled really well throught thwe day, and so we all got onb well together in the exercise. The topic may obviously change. The most important thing to consider is that you need to demonstrate all of the positive communication skills and teamwork that you SAID you have. I think they need the proof now in this exercise. Then that was it, straight down the pub with the other 5 to digest the whole day, and exchange e-mail addresses. Now the agonising wait. Officially 2-4 weeks, so....

Yup, it was a good day out, and even if you don't get through, you'll learn a lot from the day. It's a good idea to prepare thoroughly for the interview, as they will ask you a lot of seemingly innocent questions that are actually designed to root out your weeknesses (if you have any!). I know this all sounds obvious, but I have a feeling I probably tripped myself up by doing too much talking and not enough thinking.

Yo Pie! I could do with a nice bit of cherry pie now actually!!!!!!
It is ALWAYS a good idea to get the feedback cos you can always apply it to your personal/working life anyway! They are very good at BA, and get to know you very well through the process, and so it is always beneficial to get professional constructive critism.
We will find out the results soon enough Pielander. I will be checking the post every day without fail, EVEN ON SUNDAYS!!!
