Arrow Iraq (What will the effect be?)

Just wanted to know what people think the effect of another attack on Iraq would have on the industry. From a future employment point of view.. .. .The Gulf War had a major impact but did the last attack on Iraq effect the airline industry to any degree.. .. .JonathanG

Thumbs down

I think the implications of an attack on Iraq will be huge. . .. .The chances are that it would destabilise the area as there would be no Arab backing for such an attack by the US and UK, especially when they can't sort out the problems in Palestine and Isreal. This could possibly result in much more widespread conflict and an escalation in areas where conflict already exists. Great if you work for BAE Systems, but not much use if you want to work for Emirates or Gulfair!. .. .The obvious consequence to the aviation industry being on the fuel prices, which we all know is a large factor in the profitability of any airline. Can't see them recruiting in that sort of climate.. .. .I think if an attack takes place we can all expect to be working for MacDonalds for a little while longer... Sorry to be such a pessimist.. .. .Who knows it might never happen?!? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="rolleyes.gif" />
