Could anyone tell me:
1)How many people start with 0 hours logged.

2)What are the chances of passing all you exams first time with out any extra hours.

3)How much could extra hours/exam fees, add to the price of the course.

4)Do you think it would be cost effective to have a ppl first.

I am trying to predict the cost of my course so anyone with additional information, please contribute.

Hi, I'm not an abinitio but i will be starting the modular course at oxford in december (the ground school) in the meantime I have my PPL and about 66hours, and by december will hopefully have around 150 so that then i can go straight onto the flying afterwards, I'm 19 years old and will be 20 in december, hope this helps.

P.S I am very looky to have great parents and grand parents who are helping to pay me along the way!! but I will have to take out a loan at some point. They are both in line for free tickets when i finally get there!

Good luck Si, did the same as u back in 98 when I was 18, I certainly appreciate how lucky I was, its a very wise investment with quick returns. Cheap tickets galore.
