Cool Insurance

I am going to Sydney in a couple of weeks for the obligatory post degree round the world 'thang'. Trouble is, finding insurance that will cover me for a long stay in sydney then muliple other countries (New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, and Canada) with air crew cover in addition, only private mind. I have Traffords working on it but it is going to be expensive I fear. Can anyone recommend decent (or even half-decent) insurers / brokers who might be able to help.

Alternatively, do I really need to bother finding insurance to cover me as air crew? I probably wont have enough money to do more than a few hours in Australia. Do all you wannabees who hour build in the states swear by extra insurance?

Any comments received with interest.

The dude.
