Why don't you pay for one of their courses?

You pay your money to them you get the feed back.

You go to another FTO, you use their feedback

I think this is only fair to the people that go and PAY to go, to OATS.

My point is that you pay that little bit extra to go to oats to get all that feedback so it is not fair that other students should pinch it. I think we are all in this together and I am all for us doing what we can for one another. But at the end of the day we are all going to be going head to head for jobs. How do you think I feel after paying money to go to oxford, when I find people like you trying to gain an unfair and UNPAYED advantage.

200V AC, 3 Phase, 400 Hz,

I dont wish to be critical here but who has more money, OATS or prob30??

Also how could OATS take ownership of feedback when its distributed by the CAA to training organisations and from students. Its not theirs to own!!

Most people go to OATs not for feedback, but because its a name like Nike or GAP etc.

This is only my opinion and I'll shut up now!!

You have to pay a LOT more to go to Oxford, which many simply cannot afford.
At least you can 200V.
Would you be happier if we offered to pay you for your feedback??

prop 30, if I had any good feedback, I would send it to you.
Since we will all be head to head for no jobs, it would be no skin off my nose.

This OATS nonsense is an urban myth. Bristol's feedback is superb, and I am sure other schools are the same.

Thank you all for the help with feedback...
By the way i cant get access to my email address as listed so try [email protected] if you like.

The very reason i COULD NOT go to oxford had nothing to do with money. It had everything to do with the attitude of the place and the people that i met on 2 visits.

Rest assured the feedback that i get from you guys will be passed on in the future.

Thanks again

Prob 30, Hi

I would be really grateful if you could contact me reference your experiences at OAT when you visited use the link here or [email protected]

You're not the best because you think you are, you're the best because others think you are.

I would suggest you do an Oxford revision course, and pay for it like everyone else!

Sorry to be blunt, but too many people want evrything for nothing!

Nice one MorningGlory
Why should we pay for their feedback?

200V "You pay your money to them you get the feed back."

So should students get commission from OAT for getting them this feedback in the first place?

Prob30: Your radio papers should cover all feedback from all sources, including OAT (but with CORRECT answers!).
Nav, Airframes and particularly MB, your FTO is weak.

I have many airframe papers, and some good MB papers. Email me if u want to COPY.

I doubt you would gain anything from attending their brush up courses, unless you have had a long break from the classroom. Save your money for the flying! It may be worth 'acquring' the Oxford manuals for MB and systems... those are good.

Oxford did have the lead with feedback at the start of JAR era, but all their papers must be at every school in the country by now (with CORRECT answers, or should that be the MOST correct answer?).

200v,
remember, in this business team players get jobs.
If you help someone with feedback now, they may just help you in the future. <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Not so 'nice_beaver' perhaps!

Something a number of courses have done is to chip in £20 or so each, and 'sponsor' someone to go on the Oxford brush-ups for the most challenging subjects, who would get the manual, latest feedback and would write down all class notes to be shared out. Just a thought.

Stop fighting with each other and recognise your common enemy here, namely the CAA. The CAA continues to allow badly worded examination questions that are type specific and have no relationship to the syllabus for that subject. Trading feedback among youselves represents the best way to ensure that you pass these examinations with the minimum of hinderence and will allow you to concentrate on the more relevant aspects of training for a career in aviation.

PPRUNE, and this forum in particular, is an excellent place to share your feedback and top tips.

If you are doing a full time course I know you will come across Oxford feedback papers without looking too hard.
I am paying for my training just like everybody else. Fortunately not paying through the nose for the same licence at the finish!
Good luck to all who are sitting exams next week!!
