POF and Perf- Mod 2
Im due at Bristol in Feb for my brush up for Mod 2. Im in the final revision stages, and i personally have found Mod 2 harder than Mod 1. I was just wondering if their is anyone else out there who after studying all the material, and doing all the tests felt like they really didnt have a full understanding of POF and Perf ?
Is there anyone who has done the brush up who can comment on how they found it prepared them for the exams in these subjects ?

These were two subjects I found I particularly benefitted from the feedback questions BGS had at the time. I did my mod 2 exams back in September last year, and BGS had quite a load of questions particularly for POF, imerative that you go through all of them (I'm sure you would anyway).
At the time high speed flight featured quite heavily, not sure if that's still the emphasis, but the BGS brush-up should let you know, and yes, it did help me a fair amount with POF.

Pof is one of the subjects that you really need to know. rather than just learning the feedback answers.
When answering the feedback questions, try and work out why it is answer (a), rather than I know this is answer (a).
Performance will become clear once Alex gets going. The two subjects go hand in hand.

Agreed with DWW, you really do need to know the subject of POF, and I certainly wasn't advocating just learning feedback answers, I never would for any subject.
But I found this to be the subject where using the feedback to consolidate your theory came into it's own more than any other. This subject (IMHO) coud be so tricky in as much as trying to figure out exactly what the examiner is after (surely not, not the JAA ?!) that the feedback was invaluable in that respect.
Believe me, I'm not a great proponent of feedback as the MAIN basis on which to tackle the exams, (although it has its place), and this case I found it to be an invaluable aid.
