Question CPL Currency Requirements

Lets say that i had sat (and passed) the ~14 exams and gained my CPL - what are the requirements for keeping this current and how long is the CPL valid?

Thanks for your help.

The CPL is valid for 5 years from the date of issue.
The SEP that will probably be on it is valid for 2 years.
The MEP (if you do it) will be valid for one year.
The requirements for keeping them both valid are on the CAA websitee, but AFAIK, it's 12hrs within the last year, 6 PIC, 1hr with an insructor and 12 take-offs and landing.
Maybe someone knows better.

Forgot to say, if you don't do the required hours in that last year, the class rating can be renewed by a flight with a class examiner.

You can apply for a 10 year CPL if you want instead of 5. Most people don't as it costs more and they hope that they will have a full ATPL before the five years are out.

AFAIK there are no requirements for keeping your CPL 'current' other than paying the fee and filling out the form to get it re-issued. As Go-around rightly says, the things that need to be kept current are the ratings that give you the aircraft priviledges, e.g the SEP / MEP etc.
