Question Getting a flying job in the USA vrs Europe?

Hi all,

I can understand why a lot of people go to the USA to find a job because they can't get a class 1 medical here due to eye sight problems, e.g worse than -3.00 dioptres. This could happen to myself as well, a few years down the road. That is the main reason why Im asking: is it harder to find a flying job in the USA than it is in Europe?

What airlines over there offer full and part sponsorships?
Would it be better for someone to take the risk of refeactive surgery than to pack there bags and try and make a living out of fying in America?

Any advice, info, suggestions, etc would be brill.

Thanks,
Best wishes,

Turbsy
