as far as I understand, they're taking back the cadets that had just finished their training at Oxford and were awaiting type ratings.
good news for them - especially the ones that have been serving tea and coffee on BMi flights for the past year.

I hear that the BMI cadets that have been waiting over a year now for news of their courses are going to be offered a little light at the end of the tunnel.
It seems that they will be offered a Oxford Airlines course without the need to jump through the entrance hoops that other applicants have to.
The sad thing is that the course is still going to cost them £60000+ instead of the £15000 under the old cadet scheme, but Oxford will assist in the search for a bank to fund a loan.
The BMI cadets that pass the course will be placed into the pool to await the call to a F/O post.
Just thinking how much repayments on £60K would be over 10 years...........good luck boys and girls ! ! !
