Is that that they are retaking on cadets who were waitiing to go to OATS for the whole course or that they are recruiting those who had already passed their course and were awaiting type ratings?

as far as I understand, they're taking back the cadets that had just finished their training at Oxford and were awaiting type ratings.

good news for them - especially the ones that have been serving tea and coffee on BMi flights for the past year.

Red face

I hear that the BMI cadets that have been waiting over a year now for news of their courses are going to be offered a little light at the end of the tunnel.

It seems that they will be offered a Oxford Airlines course without the need to jump through the entrance hoops that other applicants have to.

The sad thing is that the course is still going to cost them £60000+ instead of the £15000 under the old cadet scheme, but Oxford will assist in the search for a bank to fund a loan.

The BMI cadets that pass the course will be placed into the pool to await the call to a F/O post.

Just thinking how much repayments on £60K would be over 10 years...........good luck boys and girls ! ! !
