Question Are you ready for your sim Interview?

ok, guys, how are you if suddenly you are called by an airline and they ask you to go in the sim(the electric chair) for 20 minutes to see your instrument scan.
most of us, waiting for years for a job, did not fly instrument for several months or years.
how do you prepare yourself for such interview, how much money are you ready to invest?
do you think airlines will take in consideration the date of your last instrument check. If a guy has 300h and a fresh instrument, and a guy with 3000h and last instrument check done 2 years ago, who do you think they will hire?

Personally I hope they recruit the one who can muster up the necessary skill to pass the test.

If it were me in that fortunate situation, I would be down at the flying club ASAP for an instrument refresher and spend as much as it takes to get close to the IR exam standard.
