Northern Boy,

No idea on the bases, other than Stansted and Bristol.

Any idea as to what the tech quiz involves?
B737 stuff or do you have to get the ATPL notes out again?

Girth, don't know the details of the tech quiz but if I were you would read, learn and inwardly digest "Handling the big jets" by DP Davies. Also have a flick through your perf A stuff so you know what a balanced field is.

Amex, Go recruitment and training 01279 661347. Jill Milne is the lady in charge. If you haven't got a 737 rating and some experience on it then they will not be interested at the moment due large numbers of type rated folk around.

Easy are also recruiting, type rated preferred. Just for comparison they are looking for F/O's who can be quickly promoted so minimum of 3-4000 hrs with 1000+ on medium jet.(25+tonnes).Given these minimums it is unlikely that Go will settle for less at the present time.Give them a call and find out.

All the best of luck.

Congratulations on getting further than the standard rejection reply.

If anyone is interested, an insider remarked that the type-rated guy isn't necessarily the 'right guy'. Its just an encouraging thought, so don't go giving up out there.

They seem quite happy at 'goFly'
