I am like many others are trying to get on to the flying ladder. Iam doing so by the self improver route, I was just going to go straight to MCC stage but as we have had a big knock on the head I am considering instruting for awhile, while things calm down. I am at the stage where I am about to start the ATPL theory (distance) and at the same time finish of my hour building. As I may only be instructing on SE aircraft, am able to get a CPL(SE) and then upgrade to CPL(ME) at a later date. What costs may be incured. please advise

Also how many P1 hours do you require before you start your CPL practical???

Thanks

Yes, you can add the MEP (Multi-Engine Piston) Land Rating whenever you need it - there are quite a few SE CPL/FI's out there. They usually have IMC ratings as well.

You need 150 hours TT and 100 hours P1 to do the CPL skills test. You need 200 hours TT for licence issue.

cheers!
