Question Bristol Groundschool CD

I am currently looking for an interactive cd to re-enforce some of the stuff I have been reading over the last few weeks. I have been told that the Bristol CD is good.

If there is someone who is out there that is finished with it (lucky sods) and wishes to part company for some cash to spend on their CPL/IR please contact me through this board.

Regards

Spanner

Bristol CD

Spanner,

Im with Bristol at mo, CD is excellent, but I think you will find that to install it you need a security disk. You get this when you pay your money to Bristol. You can only install once, to install on another pc (say your laptop) you need to phone Bristol with your reg number. No reg number no install.

You could try phoning Alex @ BGS. But it is his bread & butter. good luck.

Pleese excuse the spilling.

Alex Whittingham of BGS is a frequent visitor to these pages. I'm sure he'll be delighted to quote you a price for the benefits of his hard work - and explain to you the consequences of unlicenced use of copyrighted software!

Please remember, people, this is not an advertising forum nor is it a swap shop. We do have a forum for classified adverts these days; please use it.

Correction Although I can see the classified ads forum, apparently you can't!! I'm told it will be available some time hence.

Dean is correct. The BGS CD ROM can only be downloaded once..... which is a pain if you want it on your home PC and laptop.

FYI, to buy the BGS CD ROM on it's own is £600 I believe.

ATPL CD

Is the CD that is available from Bristol designed as a brush up CD ROM or is this the entire ATPL Groundschool (CBT)

Cheers

CD Rom

Dr H,

Having bought the BGS course I have the CD Rom, which as I said is excellent. But I think it is intended as a complimentry aid to the full course. As scoggs points out, I dont think Alex would be to pleased to have his material passed atround willy-nilly (quite rightly) He and his team have but a lot of work into it, and as said, it is his bread & butter.

Scoggs, sorry to go on, but being in business myself (not aviation) I dont think Alex would like his work passed around free- gratis. End of chat.
