hi folks,
can anyone who has been to the britannia DE selection days give any advice about possible preparation ?
They are now doing only the maths and verbal reasoning bits on day one:is there anyway to prepare or is it best to go in and redline the braincell ?
Your replies would be appreciated.

Having recently sat these tests, my advice would firstly be to speak to the IPA (Independent Pilots Association) if you are a member as they have quite a lot of info on the days tests and is all up to date. If time allows, you may be able to go to your local library and look up several maths and verbal reasoning examples... I shouldn't worry if you don't have time. If you have an ATPL (which, no doubt you do) then you'll not have too much trouble with the academic side of the tests. The group discussion is an opportunity for you to show your inter-personal and communcation skills - so good luck! (I managed to scrape through somehow!?!!)
Lots of very good reasons to join ...unfortunately, the down side to Britannia is time to command, as they quote you will be in the left seat for 7 to 10 years, perhaps 15 years as in the current scheme of things.
