Talking Wish me luck ;-)

Right lads - I'm off to Cranebank for the BA Assessment tomorrow. I'm feeling fairly confident, but send me some luck anyway!

IrishBoy,

If your the only Irish bloke there tommorrow, your going to regret this . The nice recruitment lady at BA came across as if she used Pprune more than me, well she was quick to tell us that most of the stuff people mention about BA is ka......c....k. .

It would appear that 'name the Ppruner' is a very popular game at Cranebank, as Pontius will tell you. Oyh! you don't know me, roit! ....sorry .

Anyway good luck!

Don't worry about it Irishboy, they know that everyone reads this, and most post as well (and for those of you that don't we know all about you!)

The general consensus at BA seems to be that while a lot of what is said about them on here is cr@p, a lot of it is quite true as well and you'd be stupid not to read it.

I think it makes no difference whether they know who you are or not, particularly at the aptitudes stage.

Good luck, you said you were feeling confident but watch out for over-confidence especially if you reach final board where you need that extra element, luck, to get selected.

Hi lads,

thanks for the advice/good wishes/etc. It went pretty well I think (apart from nearly missing the thing due to flying around Heathrow in the hold for 30mins!). There didn't seem to be any changes from previous years going by the advice I read in the archived posts & websites. I thought the Micropat tests were fairly easy. The Numberical Reasoning was a bit tricky though. It's not as easy to do when you're watching the time. Verbal reasoning seemed to go pretty ok. I'll be sitting waiting for the postman every morning now for the next 10 days!
