Thumbs up The long forgotten Course 19, Jerez.

A long, long time ago (14 months to be exact), 14 chaps set out on a very expensive working holiday to Southern Spain!!! The members of SS19 would first meet one cold dark October morning at EGSS!! This group of strangers would soon become a close family (too close at times!!!), with one common goal, that of obtaining their frozen ATPL's.

There have been casualties along the way, (none too serious), there have been Up's and Down's (sometimes ending with a heavy bump or two)!, There have been tears of joy and sadness, (and some minor blood spillage......room 003 especially)!

Next weekend, jerez will witness one of its most memorable Graduations in recent history (we hope)! And all are welcome to join us in O'D's on Friday night!

SS19 would like to thank the following for their help and assistance over the past 14 months:-

The Management and Staff at JRZ, local ATC for their 'alternative' method of air traffic management (only kidding ), the friendly staff at O'D's, McDonnalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut and Safeway (Gibralter) - you saved our lives!, Renault F1 for our fantastic day in the pit lane, and easyjet, Go and buzz for making trips home to the UK comfortable and affordable (C.V.s are avaliable on request)!

We would like to wish all our friends at jerez the best for the future, see you all on Friday.

Course 19.

Cool

14 Months? I can't believe it's been that long. It seems more like 41 months.

WindowSeat, spot on with the congrats, I'd also like to thank all those lovely local girls on the beach. You made our summer afternoons a great pleasure!

It was a rollercoaster of emotions, but it's been worth every Euro & I'm now looking forward to my rehabilition course to get me back into the swing of UK life again. Has anyone got a jumper?

It's going to be a great night on Friday. This is one not to miss! See you all there.

Cheers

Thumbs up

Course 19..... <sits back, cracks open a can of Stella and eyes glaze over>........

I think I just about remember that lot. Real glad to hear you're all gonna be living it up next weekend and then finally coming back to reality with a beautiful cold English winter!

I hope you all have a great night - I will check my bank balance to see if I can squeeze out one last flight fare to JRZ and back for old times sakes and to toast your success. If not then email me with someones mobile number and I shall call you up on the night - hopefully right in the middle of the speaches!!

You did forget to include one establishment in your extensive list of thank you's though.......I'll leave you to reconsider and remember just what establishment your right honourable friend might be refering to!

As for me - I hope to be joining you in the hunt for that McDonalds job in the early part of the new year.

Here's to course 19 - they came, they saw - they kicked ass!!!!

Gentlemen, my congratulations to you all

Couldn't agree more about your thank you list although I would perhaps give a little mention to a certain gentleman who runs a certain pub in puerto alongside his excellent bannoffee pie and baby rotwelier.

Wish I could somehow be in Jerez for the grad guys but sadly the folk of Glasgow need beer and on that particular evening I am down to supply that need.

All the best boys, shall hopefully meet up with you all at some point soon.

Cheers.

VFE,

Ah, how could I forget "Point Victor" everyones favourite reporting point!

Good to hear from you chap! Be great to see you again if you can make it on Friday. But if not, I'm sure we'll have a bit of spare time to catch up in the New Year.

Take it easy...

Cheers
