Yes, I drove past there! Don't forget to drive on the right after the channel ports though! and try to avoid week ends, the crazy Portugese will kill you, they are maniacs on the road!

Yep, drove up from a place near Marbella. The road from Marbella to Algeciras (the road of death) is not too bad, although a little busy. However, the road from Algecirs up to Jerez is a long, twisty, narrow little road through the mountains. Very pretty but a bastard to overtake on if you get stuck behind a truck or bus.

I presume you mean driving from the UK. I got the ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao and drove down to Jerez last Jan. Took about 10 hours to drive through Spain. Really easy as its motorway all the way.
Drove back in September, and again it took about 10 hours.
I do know of someone who did Calais - Jerez in about 14 hours but didn't fancy that drive myself.

I see how ****ing ignorant you are. In Spain you have spanish people and no protugese. And no way you have to cross Portugal to go to JEREZ.

Spain or Portugal. No difference to Morocco or Congo same type nuts with no clue how to drive on the road.
Difference is that in Spain everyone knows that they are godīs gift to automobile industry and in Africa they just think they are

Your comparison is really out of tune, JJ, same as we posting in this Wannabe Forum.
We, Spaniards, are considered bad drivers, like most of mediterranean countrie's, but it seems you never drove down to Marrakech. I did and....
no way to compare.

PS.- That's not the best way to share a beer.
