How many hours did your CPL take?

I'm on the cusp of starting my CPL, and I'm wondering how many hours it took others to complete their CPL?

OK, I'll rephrase the question:
How realistic is getting up to test standard for JAA CPL in 25 hours?
I have MEP & IMC Ratings, so I'm not afraid of complex/instrument flying, plus my experience is reasonably current.
I'm off down the pub!

15hours and 4 days. I had just completed the IR and i couldn't be arsed getting to grips with a complex single so i did it in the twin.
The cpl is very dependent on who you get for an examiner.
Don't do the test during the week because you might get a caafu.
Who are very nice chaps but.....

I've heard from elsewhere that the CPL is possible within the proscribed time schedule, and what you've said confirms this.
Regarding the examiners, I thought the CPL check ride - ahm Skills Test - had to be with a CAAFU [?!] This obviously isn't the case then. What sort of flight examiner would you likely be assigned on a weekend?

Myself and the Dead Beatle were happy after 25 hrs. The only real issue was not hours but length of time. Eight weeks!! For three weeks I flew one hour a week. There's only so much of
"that was generally good but we'll put some of that down to the fact we haven't flown for eleven days!" that you can take. The British climate it's a Pox on us all!
Where you're going they use the examiners employed by the CAA and you are generally required to go through them first. But if your midweek slot gets rained off and you're to be back at work the following monday, another geezer will come and test you during the weekend.
