A SUGGESTION TO THE WEBMASTERS.
It's just a thought and i don't know if it has been suggested before but here goes...
Seeing as though most of the airlines are aware of this site and im sure there are members on this site from the airlines, why not open a forum named Pilots for hire or somthing along those lines. In this forum pilots can either post their CV's or let it be known that they are looking for work.
If this gets off the ground then surely more and more airlines will use this site as a good resource when looking for prospective pilots.
I'm preparing for a ribbing here but oh well like thats never happened before!

It's been suggested before liquidhockey, and I believe rejected on the basis that there are already plenty of websites that do that sort of thing and Danny pays enough for his server space as it is.
More pertinently, since most airline recruitment departments get hammered with hundreds of CVs by fax, post, email and phone call every day anyway, I don't think that many chief pilots would exactly bother coming to PPRuNe to provide them with the names of pilots looking for work, it's a sort of selling-coals-to-newcastle problem
