MEP & CAA IR
Just wondered if anyone has any useful hints or tips for combining the multi rating and non-approved IR. I am looking at doing my IR in march, have all the pre-qualifying requirements and just need the IR and some more hours to beat the june deadline for issue of a caa atpl. I'm in the process of deciding where to do the ir, at the moment choosing a school co-located with a test centre seems to make sense but if anyone has other views they would be most welcome.

Its a bit of a journey but Bournemouth has two good schools plus a test centre. The facilities there are pretty good too.For schools try PAT or the bournemouth school of flying.
Also I've heard Bristol is pretty good.
Good luck with the IR. In my opinion it is the hardest and most rewarding flying qualification.
