J. Standen ex PPSC now back at EPTA (B'mouth)

Hi

To all my ex students who learnt 'scatological' met at PPSC with me. Note I am now with EPTA at Bournemouth. Back from the wilds of Yorkshire (hub of the Empire) So please drop in and say hello.

Have now developed scatological Air Law and Scatological HP & L. My new subjects. With a bit of flight planning. (not yet scatological) Most of FP will be done by Derek (ex - PPSC) and the rest of the tech subjects with Keith (ex-PPSC).

Met Dave Corbet in the terminal, who was on his F27 course. On duty over Chistmas. Plus others from the old PPSC days with their gold bars up.

So, drop in folk and say hello to your old instructors who taught you your course.

New students can find out if we are any good! by asking thee old students.

Keep in touch all, and tell me what you are doing now.

All the best

John Standen.`

Welcome back from the land of the 'eeup like' to the relatively tropical climate of Bournemouth. I am sure you have had no bedroom sex only vetanary sex whilst you have been up north.
I will polish my gold bars and come and see you while you are standing in the rain with a coffee and a fag in ya hand.

Kindest Haboobs

Colin Brooks.

Nice to be back in Bournemouth, but I miss the Hi All,

Nice to hear from you ex-PPSC guys, no girls yet, mmmmm.

I miss the lovely sheep of Yorkshire (veterinary sex!, Southern hemisphere only!). Yes a huge bin has been installed for my cigarettes. Emptied on the hour!

If all the first time pass students e-mail we can get a flame going here!

Well you all know the question.....now EPTA students know as well. What does it do in Singapore?

Answers please

a. it ......down (your suggestions!)
b. nice and sunny
c. sunny and nice
d. Cannot be determined.

Keep me updated on your progress

Dear Jon,

You used to teach me Met for the PPL/IR, Just narrowly failed (sorry to burst your bubble). You did a great job with me...home study progress tests avreaged 55%, after 5 days at PPSC went up to 77%.

Passed ATPL Met first time, mostly from remembering your lectures (Like the Y-front underwear to identify cold/warm occlusions, used it in the Met exam).

Wanted to come to PPSC, was in fact enroled as a distance learner, 2 days before I was due to send payment to transfer to full time, PPSC went Bust!!!!

How are the other instructors doing? R Henshaw, Martin T, Webb

Regards

John glad to hear you are well.

Been a few years since the brain ache at PPSC. All proved worth while though, as I've been lucky enough to fly the Boeing 757/767's for the last few years.

Do you keep in touch with Webb, Henshaw, etc?

Best Wishes

Hi John;

Well, a girl at last. Good to hear that you are back at Bournemouth and giving unsuspecting students the benefit of your excelent teaching as well as a knowledge of the workings of your digestive system. Fascinating stuff!!
Might be in the UK in spring and will drop by to see you. I might even bring you some cheap fags seeing as you got me through met. at the eleventh hour!
P.S. Give Flash a hug for me

Good to hear you are back in action John. I shall remember your Met classes with a fondness that is starkly unique in the field of ATPL study.

Twieke - crikey, I think you stayed in the same guesthouse as I in April 1999. Send me a private message.

Cheers
