Post any chipmunks in the South?

Sorry if this question dosn't quite fit into this forum but i was wondering if anyone knew where you could hire a chipmunk within say an hour or two's drive from Gatwick?
I know SFC at Shoreham had one but its no longer available for hire.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Bounce,

I believe there's one for hire at Wycombe, courtesy of the BA Flying Club (01494 529262).

And there may also be one available at Elstree from John Schooling (01923 855407).

HTH,

WF...who had a very pleasant, if rather chilly, hours flying earlier today in our groups Chipmunk <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

When I last visited RAF Halton just outside Aylesbury, Bucks, they had one (18 months ago). However, with it being a military club they're a bit limited to how many civvies they can allow in the club.

This info might help, might not.
