Question Insurance

I'll be going out to Florida at the start of March to complete my PPL with Britannia. Do I just need normal holidy insurance and Britannia's insurance covers me for the rest or what? Advice please. Ta.

Thumbs down

No, normal holiday insurance will not cover privet flying.
I know that Traffords offer holiday insurance with privet flying. You will find their number in Flyer magazin.
Good luck.

I have an annual travel policy by Preferential which includes private flying, as long as you ask them for a "hazardous pursuit" waiver!

Their tel no. is 0870 0135816

I would recommend Pentagon Insurance in Guernsey or Jersey - they offer a policy from a company called Holmans. Gives millions of squids cover in the event that you become a semi permanent feature of a foreign landscape and need hospitalisation or medevac.
