Time For Some Hours Building.

Well that time has come, with no job on the horizon I am thinking of taking that next step and heading over the pond to build some hours.
I have a frozen ATPL and I'd like to go to America to do some twin engine flying. Can anyone recommend anywhere and give me a rough idea of an hourly rate.

hello mr/miss Blighty Pilot

I am also buying flight time for approx $6000 wet hire beech duchess (multi-time) at Ari Ben aviator for 100 hrs, you could buy more time if you want at a possible discounted rate.

100 hours for $6000 - thats very good. I am looking to go in March next year. I am still undecided between the Florida side or the Arizona side as I have done some flying in Arizona before.
Thanks for the info I will look into it.

PS. MR BP

BP - Surely you mean NOT very good or are we talking about another type of Duchess rather than the Beech 76? Considering $600/hour is about £400/hour, you could get it much cheaper in the UK.

On the other hand, if it's $6000 for 1000 hours, then you have a much better deal.

Cheers,

LP

Low-Pass

Me thinks you should get a refund on your calculator!!!

It works out at about £40p.h, and that includes accom. according to their website!

Looks like it could be hols in sunny Florida next year.

1000 hrs wet in a Duchess for $6000 would probably be the somewhat oversubscribed sale of the century.

Twin flying for 4 quid an hour !!

Blighty you said you were not sure about what side to fly on East or west, Have you thought about flying coast to coast? It's a great flight and a very good experience. The States is great for that sort of Flying, I think Florida can get a bit boring after a while.
