KLMuk to Cityhopper

With the recent changeover at KLMuk to KLMcityhopper what do people think the future of recruitment will be like with the 'big blue'? Will all of the future hiring go to Dutch pilots?

KLMcityhopper's minimum requirements are 1300 hours on types similar to F50/F70, which is substantially higher than KLMuk!

I have alot of contacts in KLM and I am of the understanding that there is a recruitment hold for KLC (KLM Cityhopper Uk ltd) until the issue with current pilots is sorted out.

However it will seem that the recruitment with be taken over by the Dutch and be controlled in Schipol.

The current KLM uk team in Stansted should be moving to Buzz and concentrating on recruitment for them.

Hope that clears it up for you.

Recruitment will be run from Amsterdam, but pilots will still be recruited in the UK, as there are not enough Dutch pilots, and they will be more likely to fill UK bases from here.
