Not sure of the final date...but I know a man who is well up on Perf A.

Try asking Pete Swatton at PPSC.

The exams in June are the last ones for Perf A... at the moment. I have heard the odd rumour that they might be extended until December, although I wouldn't pin your hopes on it.

Don't stress!

CAA have said (check their website) that although Perf A finishes in June, after that you can take the appropriate JAR performance examination instead.

If you have an old style licence or just finishing National examinations and are scrambling to get Perf A in before the door shuts, CAA have said that a JAR Perf exam will do nicely and can be added to an 'old style' licence.

The only worry is how much harder a JAR Perf exam is compared to Perf A (I don't know).

Cheers, H&H

PPSC have advised me to do the Perf A

So I still need that date - if all else fails I will have to ring up 'I have known you for quite some time but the thought of love has never crossed my mind..' = CAA

Thanks for your continuing input

Ha ha I know that song so well! It's like chinese water torture.

A deliberate CAA ploy to make you hang up, I'm sure.

Really? So what wonderful song have they chosen to torment us with for the next couple of years?

Please don't tell me it's Hear'Say....
