Stupid, I know, but I did it anyway !

Sorry to mention this again everyone but I was sat at work today (bored) and thought I'd have a quick scour at the net.

I looked at that guy at makemeapilot.co.uk again and he's had over 1000 hits !!

So I took the plunge and dropped him a tenner.

I did it a punishment to myself for not thinking of the idea first !

Call me foolish. I know !!

Still, it may work out well in the end.

I'd rather buy myeself a few pints than aid the training of a potential future competitor!

Sorry.

Wonder how many of those hits are from curious PPRuNers? Wannabes must have more than 1000 readers, a lot of whom would have followed the link on the original thread.... Doesn't mean all of them have contributed though.

My latest credit card bill arrived in two envelopes.

Much as I admire the front of this guy, I will use my money selfishly in the near future!

Thumbs down

Has it crossed anyones mind that BOING7117 is the one that created this website and he's simply advertising it on PPRUNE & now he's even trying to get people to follow him in making donations. Come on people, where's all the suspicious minds out there - can't believe I'm the only one!!!

This seems like one big setup. Anyone agree?

Just looked at the site, cannot believe someone could seriously take the time to put that there. Does he think people struggling to get into aviation themselves would make donations to him. Must be a bit of sarcasm there I think.

makemeapilot

I think the guy has got brass neck to be honest, If hes an impoverished student then get down the local underpass and breathe in to a flute for a few coppers like others do. Anyway what good is the advice of a 20 year old whom HASNT been through the mill whom HASNT had the experience of training. The only 20 yearolds offering "advice" these days seem to be financial advisers. "is yer Dad in" is what sprang to mind when i met mine last....

2 sources of info I aquired were "Zero to FO" and "Clive Hughes How to become a commercial pilot" publication both written by people whom know what they are talking about not a wannabe. And of course this site....

I'm thinking of setting my own web site up explaining to you, provided you provide me with £20/membership, How you can become rich and successful. I will send you a leaflet a year later saying set up a web site........
