Post Revalidating UK CPL

Is it possible to revalidate a lapsed CAA CPL after almost 30 years?

Friend of mine did his training in Perth as an airline cadet, he was issued with a UK CPL before returning to fly for his national airline. 30 years later he has a desire and possibly a need to fly in Europe. Experience wise, he has around 16,000 hours of which most is on jet aircraft.

Any ideas?

It probably is. Some guy @ my flight school had stopped flying for about 15 years & got his licence renewed after some training & (I believe) a flight test. Have you checked theCAA FAQ on this subject ?
