help on jar needed

I have an iaa Cpl(a) and an irish issued Jar Cpl(a).I intend on doing a JAR approved flight instructors course in a school in the uk.Would i be able to instruct in the uk on the basis of my jar cpl or would i run into problems.I am having trouble getting through to the caa to ask them this as they seem to be very busy

Thanks in advance

I believe that if you intend to reside or work long term in a country you should convert your licence to that country - a paperwork exercise only, though I'm sure the CAA can russle up a hefty fee. In principle you should have no problem using a JAA licence in any JAA country.

Suggestion: come the revolution, let's put the CAA at the top of the 'correction' list.
