Post Cathay Pacific

Has anyone out there got any idea about the residency requirements for CP second officers as there is no mention of it on their web site? And secondly, they are asking for 1000+ hours, anyone idea about your chances of success with the minimum requirement???

Thanx in advance,

LE.

With 'just' 1000 hours, your chances are pretty minimal unless it's all jet/heavy TP time or you have a good contact within the company. Residency and work permits are taken care of for direct entry S/O's, but you have to be Chinese national to apply for their cadet sponsorship.

They're interviewing in London again in July, so get those updates in now!

Cheers Luke. I guess that I'll have to carry on hour building.
