a) after the fueltank
b) before the eng
c) after the pumps

5) How are the loads on an A/C busbar connected?
a) in parallel so that current reduces through the busbar as loads are switched off
b)in parallel so that voltage reduces through the busbar as loads are switched off
c) in series so that current reduces through the busbar as loads are switched off
d) in series so that voltage reduces through the busbar as loads are switched off

6) Persistent over excitation of one generator fiel will cause:
a) the GCB and exciter control relay to trip
b) the BTB and exciter control relay to trip
c) the GCB and BTB to trip
c) the GCB and SSB to trip

7) In an air cycle air conditioning system what is the function of the ground-cooling fan?
a) To draw cooling air over the heat exchangers
b) To draw cooling air over the turbine
c) To blow air into the compressor
d) To recirculate air through the mix manifold

8) An artificial feel system is needed in the pitch channel if:
a) Elevators are controlled through an irreversible servo system
b) Elevators are controlled through a reversible servo system
c) Elevator is controlled through a servo tab
d) Airplane has variable incidence tailplane

9) Auto brakes are disengaged:
a) by the pilot
b) whe the speed falls below 20 kts
c) on the landing roll when the autopilot is disengaged

10) An axial flow compressor when compared to a centrifugal compressor:

b) takes in less air and is less prone to rupturing
c) takes in more air and is less prone to rupturing
d) takes in less air and is more prone to rupturing

11) A squirrel cage tacho generator system uses:
a) three phase ac whose frequency varies with the speed of the engine delivered to a three phase synchronus motor and drag cup
b) single phase ac whose frequency varies with the speed of the engine converted to a square wave pulse delivered to a servo driven intrument
c) a tacho probe and phonic wheel measuring the speed sending information t oa squirrel cage motor and drag cup

11 a. definitely

1 is going to be bellows or capsule not bourden for JAR, think high pressure for Bourden and fuel booster pumps are not high pressure.
