Finance is a complex business but you should find that mot high street banks offer a Career Development Loan of up to £8000. The advantage to this is that you get 6 months grace period prior to starting repayments (this is after completing your training.

I got £28K out of HSBC who offer a professional studies loan which has no higher limit so is great for flying courses as the time just keeps being added!! the only thing that has to be said is that I had a job to go to with an airline and was sponsored hence they were willing to give such a large ammount without a house to secure it on alhough my parents are guarantor for the loan. Hope that helps, e-mail me for any more info!!
