Thumbs up

Can’t really advise on the CPL, but I’m half way through my PPL at EGSG, so some general comments . . .

Its a nice friendly place, decent clubhouse, no shortage of aircraft, and good instructors. Eric Thurston is legendary (half the industry seem to have done their IR with him).

The circuit can get extremely busy at times, and with North Weald & Stansted next door, and the London TMA just above, the surrounding airspace is pretty crowded too, which all makes for fun flying. The wx can be iffy, but no worse than anywhere else.

Well worth a look, I’d say.
